The terms under which you can use Dhan Metrics.

1. About these terms
By creating an account or using Dhan Metrics (the "Service") you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service. We may update these terms; material changes will be announced via email and reflected on this page.
2. What Dhan Metrics is
Dhan Metrics is an educational personal-finance platform for Indian users. It provides calculators, historical back-tests, scoring tools, and a dashboard that personalises results based on the profile you fill in. It is not a brokerage, a bank, a payment service, or a fund distributor.
3. Not investment advice
Nothing on Dhan Metrics — including SIP / SWP / Step-up SIP calculators, the Past Returns back-tester, dashboard scores, or any text generated by the platform — constitutes personalised investment advice. Past performance shown is historical and does not predict future returns. We are not a SEBI-registered investment adviser. Always consult a qualified, registered adviser before making any investment decision.
4. Account responsibility
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. Don't share your password. We provide industry-standard authentication via Supabase; you provide the password. If you suspect unauthorised access, sign out from all sessions and reset your password immediately.
5. Accuracy of data
Calculator outputs and Past Returns figures are computed from publicly available NAV data (AMFI) and the inputs you provide. We do our best to keep the data fresh and accurate but make no warranty of completeness or correctness. Don't rely on it for tax filing, legal compliance, or anything an error in it could materially harm.
6. Acceptable use
Don't abuse the Service: no scraping, no automated traffic that disrupts other users, no attempts to find other users' data or reverse-engineer our infrastructure. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
7. Subscription, billing, refunds
The Free tier is free forever. Paid tiers (when launched) will have clear pricing, an explicit subscribe action, and a refund window described at the point of purchase. We will not charge you without your explicit consent for the charge.
8. Termination
You can delete your account anytime from the Profile page (deletion soon). We can terminate accounts for violation of these terms with notice when reasonable. On termination, your data is permanently deleted within seven days unless legally required to retain it.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, Dhan Metrics is provided "as is". We are not liable for financial losses arising from decisions you make based on outputs of the Service. Your decision to invest, withdraw, or rebalance is yours alone.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by Indian law. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka.
